The S2000 prototype is based on Honda's SSM (Sports Study Model) concept vehicle, first shown at the 1995 Tokyo Motor Show (it was also known as the SSX).

Honda is once again demonstrating its ability to suprise us. The S2000 is a sensational rear-drive roadster. What is better to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary.
